Steam UI

Steam have a beta of a new UI i'm not usually a fan of changing stuff up this dramatically but i'm quite liking this new UI.

If you want to have a look you need to go into setting and check the beta participation drop down menu.

Thanks for letting us know, I'll certain jump all over that :D

*Edit*

Flipping heck it's brilliant :D Even tells you on the store page what your friends have recently got.
My only issue is that they need to make it a bit clearer which games are installed, maybe just an indent on the line with a small icon in the gap.

Looks great but sooooo unstable for me.

Esp love the new games list that shows who else has each game!

Scrolling goes at about 0.5 FPS, embedded movies are a slideshow and it crashes every time I go onto the news tab.

I think I'll opt out of that one for a while ;) Looking forward to when it's sorted :)

For me the menu items didn't show. Which made it a huge pain to set it back to the normal Steam UI ](*,)

I've reverted back to the original UI i logged in about ten minutes ago to find my games list empty save for non steam games! I don't mind a few teething troubles but that's beyond a joke!

Loaded it back up today and am pleased to say that all my teething issues are gone. Scrolling is back to normal (full FPS now :P), no more crashes and some great new functionality. Probably leave it in beta mode for the time being, really love the games list.
